Our Team
Jessie MacGillivray
Jessie practises almost exclusively in criminal defence for both legally-aided and privately-funded clients. Apart from criminal law Jessie also has expertise in regulatory matters such as Health Practitioner investigations and disciplinary matters.
Having had experience since her admission in 2008 defending a wide range of offences in both Victoria and South Australia, Jessie can confidently represent clients charged with any type of crime, from drink driving to sexual assaults and complex financial crime.
Outside of practise, Jessie is engaged in law reform in the areas of sex work in South Australia and climate change.
